Li Dan, also known as Li Er and Lao Zi, was good-natured and gentle during childhood. He studied very hard and always borrowed books from classmates to manually copy due to family financial difficulties. He even read under the moonlight as his family had no money to buy oil lamp. At eighteen, on day while reading late in the moonlight, Lao Zi suddenly sensed one hand rubbing his head and the whole body felt very cool. Since then, Lao Zi could memorize any book after reading only once. Thereafter, Lao Zi concentrated to Dao cultivation, mediating quietly in the mountain without much desire for diets. His spiritual power increased drastically. Occasionally he came across neighbours who were sick and Lao Zi cured their illnesses by one simple touch. His reputation was thus widely spread and people with illness all came to approach Lao Zi for treatment. Lao Zi (Tai Shang Lao Jun – the Highest Supreme Load) always treated them patiently and carefully. Therefore he was well respected and trusted by the public.
Li Dan left for forest hermitage at the age of one hundred and twenty. On his journey to the forest at Jia Gu Gate, he met the Gate Defence General: Zhu Fanhan. The General sincerely entreated Lao Zi to retain messages. Therefore Lao Zi wrote down “Dao De Jing” scripture and left to the west riding on a cattle. Lao Zi quietly spent five hundred years on Dao cultivation in the mountain before ascending back to Heaven. After levitation, Lao Zi was concentrating to compose music score for “Dao De Jing” in order to contribute to the salvation of mankind. Singing this music score would lead to 1) glory sunlight shining following roosters’ crow; 2) spiritual power soaring & leaping and 3) illness recovery and saving people to relief from disaster evil. The more you sing, the more peaceful and open-minded you would be.
Although Lao Zi’s humanity life can be derived, Lao Jun (shot name of Tai Shang Lao Jun) era can no longer be recovered. During his mankind, his legend has been documented numerously. After his levitation, his glory would continue shining in the land under Heaven forever. For saving the mankind from life suffering, the Lao Jun returned back to the temporal world several dozen times thereafter. Now Lao Jun is bestowing nectar water again and the blessed people are filled with joy and gladness. Wish everyone diligently practice Dao cultivation, the Lao Jun would surely support you to climb up to the peak of mountain.
